Membership Information
Wheaton Woods Pool Membership Information
We cannot stress the importance of increasing the membership to WWP. Please encourage friends, family, and neighbors to join you for the summer at Aspen Hill's community pool.
See you at the Pool!
Fees
The Board of Directors of WWP
agreed to continue the NEW PERMANENT MEMBER “SPECIAL” where
new permanent members would only pay the initial membership fee of $400 with no
annual dues for the first year. This
offer is open to all new permanent members, so give your friends a call!
Please read the following
information relating to membership BEFORE completing the enclosed dues
worksheet. If you have any
questions, please give me a call.
A dependent child is one who
resides in the membership holder’s household and uses the wading and/or main
pool. There is no charge for
babes-in-arms (children under the age of two (2) years).
Please note the maximum of $180 for dependent children.
Dependent children can include
college students over the age of 21 but should exclude adults who reside in the
membership holder’s home who are self-supporting.
A “non-dependent” fee should be paid for them to use the pool in this
case.
Suspension of membership will
be enforced until payment of annual dues. According
to the Bylaws, a member is responsible for annual dues until membership is sold,
donated back, or revoked.
A $50 Late Fee will be assessed
to members whose dues are not postmarked by May 15, 2008.
Please add this amount to late checks.
Dues must be paid in full for admission to the pool.
Included at the back of this
newsletter is a worksheet for determining your 2008 dues.
Please note the request for additional information, including your email
address, so that we may serve you more efficiently.
News From the Gate
The procedure for entering the
pool will remain the same as last year. Sign-in
sheets will be available at the front desk, and the lifeguard on gate duty will
confirm your number. There will be
staffing at the gate during all operating hours.
The lifeguard staff will also
be responsible for the sale and processing of guest passes.
The cost will be unchanged this year at $20 for a five-visit pass,
payable by check made out to Wheaton Woods Pool.
A member MUST accompany the guest to the pool.
The lifeguard on duty at the front desk will punch or mark the guest
pass, and return the pass to the member.
We ask all of our members to keep a watchful eye—if you observe a non-member entering the pool, please notify the pool operator or any Board member as soon as possible. Your help is truly appreciated!!
