The WWP Social Committee has been busy planning numerous events for all of our members. We will start off right away with opening day festivities from 1:00PM to 4:00 PM. Entertainment will include food, DJ music from our own James and John McDuffie as well as door prizes. (Door prizes will include guest passes, tickets to WWP social events and more. If you have an idea or a donation for a door prize please let us know!) Your $5.00 fee will cover a burger OR dog, chips, soda and a cold treat. We also invite our members to bring a friend or two in to see our home away from home. Guest fees will be waived on opening day. And if your friend should decide to join – make sure he or she mentions your name and you will receive a free guest pass. If you have questions about this please contact us

social and Swim Team events are listed. Any early closings or delayed openings
are also noted on this calendar. To minimize confusion, all social events EXCLUDING
ADULT SOCIALS will have the same fee of $5.00 per person. This year we
have added some new events like a family Bingo night and a Teen social. For more
specific information about individual events you can contact Helen Kuhnsman at
301-962-0259 or hbkmom@verizon.net. Fliers for individual events will also be
posted at the pool about 2 weeks prior to each event.
Last years’ flea market was also a tremendous success so we will be holding it again this year. This year it will be held SATURDAY, May 31 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Item donation will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on FRIDAY MAY 30th. We will need LOTS of help in many different ways. You can help sort and price donated items. Set up Saturday morning, take a 2 hour shift during the sale or help transport leftover clothing to the Interfaith Center on Twinbrook Parkway. There will be a sign up board at the pool on opening day or you can contact Helen Kuhnsman at 301-962-0259 or hbkmom@verizon.net.
